Start with the bigger picture
For professionals and tradespeople considering independent, nominated or regional pathways.
Skilled migration starts with understanding the relationship between your experience, the relevant occupation and the pathway’s requirements. A points estimate on its own cannot tell you whether you will receive an invitation or qualify for a visa. State nomination and regional options introduce their own considerations.
An expression of interest is not a visa application. An occupation appearing on a list, a points estimate or a nomination discussion does not guarantee an invitation or approval.

A little more clarity
Your questions, considered.
Can you tell me if I qualify from my job title?
A job title alone does not establish suitability. Duties, qualifications, experience, assessment requirements and your other circumstances need to be considered.
Is a regional pathway the same as permanent residence?
Different visa categories have different purposes and conditions. Do not assume a provisional regional visa is an immediate permanent visa or that a later application is guaranteed.
Do I need to choose a state before speaking with you?
No. Bring your preferences and constraints so the discussion can include the practical implications of location. State and territory requirements should be checked directly at the time of advice.
